This page sets forth the Purpose, Goals and Disclaimers for our web site.
If you have questions, complaints or corrections, please read this first.

Purpose
This web site is intended to be a venue in which we will be able to share our love of Celtic music and some of its American derivitaves. Many people have contributed to our musical lives, directly and indirectly. This site is an attempt to return our thanks to the music community - both musicians and listeners.

Goals
Our goals are:
1. To share our music. Over the years we have collected many tunes. Some are quite well known, a few unusual variations and some not well known at all. This material will be made available through the three major formats: ABC notation; MIDI files; and GIF images of the standard notation.

2. We would like to introduce you to the people that have influenced our music. To this end we will feature our friends and neighbors as well as our favorite "commercial" bands.

3. An attempt will be made to document the musical material through bibliography and discography pages. Guests are invited to contribute to these areas and forms will be provided to facilitate this.

Disclaimers
Every attempt has been made to verify the information presented here. All errors, misunderstandings, omissions and outright lies are soley the responsibility of your webmaster, Tom deLombarde. Please E-mail any suggestions, complaints or corrections to him at tomd@blackflute.com.

Copyrights
All graphic devices and original content are Copyright 1998 Tom deLombarde. With a couple of noted exceptions, all music presented here is traditional and in the public domain. Where authorship is known we have included copyright notice. Arrangements are ours in most cases.

Tune Presentation
In most cases, the tunes are presented in the arrangement played by Wild Dismay, but a few are straight out of O'Neill's or some other standard reference. We have attempted to annotate these cases. In future we hope to have our version of all tunes replacing these "standard" versions.
